Girls attacked on the subway for “wrong appearance”

On April 1 two girls, traveling half-empty subway car in the afternoon, became victims of an attack. A man first pushed one of the girls, forcing her to stand up, and then threw water on both girls and beat them unmercifully.

"You have to look like a woman to be treated like one, and not like you do. Where are your skirts?"- He kept saying.

Despite serious injuries (open nose fracture, a concussion, damage to the temporal and zygomatic bones) the girls were able to detain the attacker and bring him to the police.

LGBT organization "Coming Out" is providing psychological and legal (lawyer Ksenia Mikhailova) assistance to the victims.
